Valley of Fire Photo Shoot

The $599 package includes an approximately 1.5 to 2 hour professional photography session at multiple locations within Valley of Fire State Park, and a full digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos delivered within 10 days. You receive complete printing and sharing rights to all images.

The standard package accommodates up to 10 people. Groups larger than 10 should contact us for custom pricing.

Sessions are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. During that time we shoot at several of the park's designated photo locations to maximize variety and give you the best selection of images.

We shoot at the locations Valley of Fire State Park designates for photo shoots — some of the most dramatic desert scenery in the American Southwest. We choose among them based on lighting conditions and the look you want to achieve.

The photo shoot is a photography session, not a guided tour, and transportation is not included in the $599 price. You meet your photographer inside the park and move between the park-designated photo locations during your session. Valley of Fire is about 55 miles from Las Vegas — drive yourself, or book transportation.

Yes. Many couples marry at a Las Vegas chapel or courthouse and then book a Valley of Fire photo shoot to get red-rock wedding portraits. Come in your wedding attire and bring up to 10 people. If you'd rather have the ceremony in the park too, see our $900 elopement package, which includes the officiant, photography, flowers, and the state park permit.

Yes. The $599 photo shoot works well as a Valley of Fire engagement session — the red sandstone makes a striking backdrop for save-the-dates and announcements. It also works for proposals, anniversaries, family portraits, and solo portraits.

Morning and late afternoon give the softest light and the deepest red in the rocks; midday sun is harsher, especially in summer. Tell us your preferred time when you book and we'll recommend a start time for your date.
